Copyright & Usage Policy

Ownership of Media

All photographs, videos, and digital media captured by Moor Photo Video are the intellectual property of Jeff Moor. Under U.S. Copyright Law, ownership of the work remains with the creator unless a written transfer of copyright is signed by both parties.

Granted Usage License

When you hire Moor Photo Video, you are purchasing a usage license. Upon final payment, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the delivered media for:

  • Social Media: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Marketing Materials: Websites, digital brochures, and email campaigns.
  • Professional Portfolio: Showcasing your business’s culinary or architectural achievements.

Digital Downloads & Personal Use License:

The above usage licenses apply to custom video production services. For customers purchasing pre-recorded live events (such as dance recitals, theatrical performances, or sports events) from our digital storefront, you are purchasing a personal, home-use license only. These videos are for private family viewing. Redistribution, public screening, uploading to public social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), or sharing your private streaming login with non-purchasers is strictly prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement.

Restrictions

To maintain the integrity of the work, the following actions are prohibited without prior written consent:

  • Editing & Filters: Applying heavy filters or altering the original color-grading provided by Moor Photo Video.
  • Third-Party Transfers: Selling or “gifting” the high-resolution files to third-party vendors (e.g., an interior designer or food supplier) for their own commercial use.
  • Commercial Resale: Selling the images to stock photo sites or as standalone products.

Multi-Camera Production Rights

For Live Events & Productions, the raw footage from all five cameras remains the property of Moor Photo Video. The client is licensed to use the final edited “Master” version. Requests for raw unedited footage will incur an additional “Raw Asset Charge.”
