Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: March 1, 2026
1. Digital Products & E-Commerce:
For customers purchasing digital downloads, VOD (Video on Demand), or streaming access (e.g., dance recitals or event recordings) through our online storefront, payment is due in full at the time of checkout. Due to the digital nature of these files, all digital product sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided once a purchase is completed.
2. Service Agreements & Payments
- Project Quotes: All service quotes are project-specific and subject to the rates outlined on our Pricing & Investment page.
- Non-Refundable Retainer: A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure any booking. This fee covers administrative costs and prevents other bookings for your reserved time slot.
- Final Payment: All remaining balances must be paid in full prior to the delivery of final media. Moor Photo Video reserves the right to withhold deliverables until payment is cleared.
3. AI & Digital Enhancement Disclosure
Moor Photo Video may utilize advanced digital post-processing tools, including Generative AI (e.g., for object removal or background enhancement), to ensure the highest quality final product. These tools are used as creative enhancements and do not constitute a misrepresentation of the subject matter.
4. Artistic Release & “Right to Cure”
- Artistic Judgment: The Client acknowledges that Moor Photo Video’s work is subject to our unique artistic style.
- The Cure Period: If the Client is dissatisfied, they must provide written feedback within 14 days. Moor Photo Video shall have 30 days to perform reasonable re-edits or corrections before any further claim can be made.
5. File Storage & Liability
- Backup Responsibility: Delivered files are hosted for 60 days. After this period, Moor Photo Video is not responsible for maintaining or retrieving lost or deleted files.
- Limitation of Liability: Moor Photo Video is not responsible for any indirect damages resulting from the use of our services or website. Our total liability is limited strictly to a refund of the amount paid by the Client.
6. Non-Disparagement & Disputes
- Good Faith: Both parties agree not to make negative or disparaging remarks about each other in public forums or social media.
- Mandatory Mediation: Any disputes that cannot be resolved through direct discussion must first go through Mandatory Mediation in our local jurisdiction before any legal action is filed.
